
Terms and Conditions
By purchasing cupcakes from Lily Cakes it is assumed that you have read and accept our terms and conditions in full.
All prices are non-negotiable and are priced according to your exact specifications in our ordering guide.
All payments are taken via credit card, Venmo, CashApp or check (by preapproval).
All orders require a booking fee of 50% of the total cost of the order within 24 hours of receiving the order approval. Final payment for all orders must be made by 7 days prior to collection or delivery. If payment is not received by the date specified this shall be constituted as breach of contract by the client. We reserve the right to hold the order until payment has been made in full.
The following conditions will be implemented at the discretion of Lily Cakes when an order is cancelled. Cancellations of orders outside 14 days of the order pick up date will receive the deposit refunded in full minus any fees incurred for processing the order. Orders inside 14 days will typically forfeit their deposit amount but we reserve the right to make exceptions based on the situation.
Lily Cakes does not cater to any dietary restrictions/sensitivities/allergies, and does not hold any responsibility for any food allergies or reactions to our product. While none of our product contains any nuts/nut products, they are made in a home kitchen where nuts/nut products are consumed. Our product is made fresh every week without the use of any additives or preservatives. Our cupcakes are fresh for 3 days after being picked by the customer. They can be stored in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct light, in the refrigerator for 2 days. It is best to remove our cupcakes an hour prior to consumption to allow buttercream to soften. Do not expose our product to sunlight or heat.
Due to the nature of the materials we are working with, as well as product availability, we cannot always guarantee 100% uniformity in color from order to order. Color variations may occur; however, we always endeavor to keep consistency. We refrain from using intense, deep, dark colors because they can cause a bitter taste and alter the structure of our buttercream due to the amount of coloring needed to achieve those colors. We reserve the right to modify the design or presentation if needed.
Customer design specifications are available via drop down selections within the online shop. Final designs and variants thereof are at the final discretion of Lily Cakes to ensure the best possible result for each individual customer.
Once an order is placed, adjustments and alterations may only be made at the discretion of Lily Cakes on an individual basis. We reserve the right to refuse any adjustments and alterations after an order is finalized. Lily Cakes reserves the right to increase an order fee in the event that the customer requests a variation to the original order specifications. No alterations to an order are accepted less than 7 calendar days prior to reserved pickup date.
Wherever possible, Lily Cakes will try to accommodate requests to transfer pickup dates, however this may not be possible depending on our order bookings for that time period (particularly for dates around special celebrations and holidays). If we are unable to change your booking to your new date, then the cancellation policy will apply.
Pick up times are included in the ordering process. Please try to adhere to the time you select. If you determine the time you selected needs to be adjusted please reach out as early as possible to reschedule.
Each order is packaged and designed for safe transportation, please be sure to read the care card included in each box upon receiving your order.
We assume full responsibility for any product in our kitchen until it is personally given to the customer. We are not responsible for damage to products once they are in the customer’s possession, and we do not offer refunds for accidental damage.
